One of the top three issues no one wants to mention is the push for full value assessments on all the city's property which will more than likey result in the doubling and tripling of over a 100,000 homeowners' property tax. This is a disaster waiting to happen and the likes of Brett Mandel and his dog and pony show aka Philadelphia Forward. The social and financial upheavals this will cause are countless and will spell the eventual demise of this already struggling city. The premise Mandel and his pro business allies tout are that there are gross inequities in the present property tax system, which though not the best will not produce the tremendous and criminal increases in the neighborhoods that have managed to stay healthy and livable. I know Mandel and the Chamber of Commerce and big business lobbuyists have more access to all of you than the average homeowner, but believe me we will make it an issue if bnot in May then for sure in November.
